[PACKAGE REVIEW] Headset Battery Indicator — Python/Qt GUI for HeadsetControl (#2407352)

Hello Fedora Developers and Packagers,

I am requesting a review for a new application I’ve developed, Headset Battery Indicator.

This is a Python/PySide6 (Qt) application designed to provide a graphical system tray interface (GUI) for the already-packaged headsetcontrol utility. It allows users to manage their Corsair headset hardware (battery status, ChatMix, Sidetone, and Auto-Off time) conveniently without using the CLI.

I believe this fills a necessary gap in the Linux desktop experience for gaming peripherals.

I am currently looking for a package sponsor to review and approve the package.

Project Details:

  • Application: headset-battery-indicator
  • Version: v1.3.0
  • Dependencies: headsetcontrol, python3-PySide6.
  • Bugzilla Review Ticket: [Bugzilla #2407352] (The review request is already open.)
  • Source Code (GitHub): https://github.com/ruflas/headset-battery-indicator

The SRPM compilation failed initially but is ready to proceed once a sponsor confirms the .spec structure. Any interest or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Ruflas
