On boot after 3 miss typed passwords nothing happens: no error message nor reboot

Hello there

I use my drives encrypted and one thing I notice recently is that if I misstype my password 3 times instead of reboot, gie a message or anything, the graphical part of systemd-cryptsetup, Plymouth i guess, just shows the spining circle as normal. But if I press ESC on the verbose part there is a message about the wrong password being misstyped. I am not sure if it always behaved this way. But I think it happened before even on F36.
