Description

Akmods startup script will rebuild akmod packages during system boot while its background daemon will build them for kernels right after they were installed.

This repo contains the akmods package with patches from: https://src.fedoraproject.org/fork/nvieville/rpms/akmods/commits/secure_boot_key_features

This repo has to be used in combination with kmodtool-secureboot.

Installation Instructions

After installation read: /usr/share/doc/akmods/README.secureboot

An existing X509 certificate has to be installed in:

  • /etc/pki/akmods/certs/public_key.der
  • /etc/pki/akmods/private/private_key.priv

Both files should be owned by root:akmods with permissions 640.
