Nvidia driver installed, but "glxinfo | grep vendor" returns intel

I installed the nvidia drivers thru the RPM fusion guide, nvidia xserver settings have been installed as well, but I noticed games run extremely poorly. so I checked thru the glxinfo command and the vendor is reported back as intel. how do I make it use my egpu instead of my igpu
