Notification are not properly displaying in fedora 40

Can you please create a new use and see if the issue persists to begin with? (that looks like a custom theme etc., and it’s quite possible that they’re causing the issues)

I experience this as well when using the shell theme Materia-dark. Switching the theme back to Adwaita (the default) allows notifications to display properly. When another theme is in effect it also has an impact, for me, when using the Gnome extension Quick Settings Tweaker and using its notification enhancements.
