Problem
In Fedora 43 Beta Workstation, you will see that there are no dynamic thumbnails for video or audio files (with cover art) in the file manager, or in file dialogs. You will only see a generic icon for such files.
Cause
Some changes to the default thumbnailers in Fedora 43 Beta, along with the replacement of the old “totem” video player (which had its own thumbnailer) with the new “Showtime” player (which does not), combined to cause this problem.
