No thumbnails for RW2, CR2, DNG

just updated to Fedora Workstation 43 and thumbnails are not working for:

• DNG
• RW2
• CR2

thumbnails are working for PDF, JPG, MP4, MOV, MPG, WEBM, GIF.

tried recommended solutions in:

[Fedora 43] no thumbnails in Nautilus (gnome files)

thank you, Victoria. i would like to mention that it’s also not previewing either CR2 nor RW2. only thumbnails i get are for pdf, video and jpg. update: finally got it to work: installed tumbler and tumbler-extras per advice found elsewhere followed instructions at GitHub - emuskardin/nautilus-raw-thumbnails: Preview RAW files in Nautilus rebooted now i have thumbnails of everything. posted this solution in the new issue i’d opened. thank you again Victoria and others for sharing…

to no avail.

no change.

not sure where to go from here, any clues would be most appreciated.

ok, finally got it to work:

1. installed tumbler and tumbler-extras
2. followed instructions on github link above
3. rebooted

now i have thumbnails of everything.
