@bigkrp,
If you are yet to solve the problem, look at mine. I have solved it.

I have no headphones displayed in my output, also i have no Configuration submenu.

@bigkrp,
Please check the image again. Its NOT with headphone. When you are still on laptop sound, change the configuration, then insert your headphone.

I have some issue with headphones I tend to have to plug them in and unplug replug and change settings it’s always a bit of fiddling around. I installed the PulseAudio Volume Control which gives better control of the devices and I now disable everything but what I am currently using which seems to work best. Clearly the audio functions are not working at their best in 33 for me but ultimatly do work after some playing around even my Bluertooth headset.

I meant that there is no configuration, for output from the built-in speakerse167187e41e5e3a8540013c015482d1cc698ca12.png

My headphones don’t show up as an output device in PulseAudio Volume Control

Do they show up under configuration?

Just tested mine in the front panel of my computer and they show up and disappear in output in volume control.
Did a search for your hardware “HDA-Intel” “Realtek ALC294” found below look down post 13 -14 + look at associated link. Hope this helps.

Starts getting more interesting at around post #160 for commands

On my system I select “built in audio” or some such but that is only available after the headphones are plugged in. It does not show up in the control panel until systemd sees the headphones are there and available.

I found this issue, it seams that it is common trouble for asus laptops

nothing helps((

Still have this issue
