Hello, I want to install my Fedora on sda4. But only my nvme0n1 (see image 1) is shown in the installer. When I go to [Custom] my sda partition is shown (see image 2), but I get the error message (see image 2). How can I fix this.

Sda4 appears to be a partition on the ventoy usb device.
Installation can only be performed into an unallocated space with the automatic install method or into properly configured partitions when doing a custom install.
Installing onto an already bootable usb device is not necessarily a good idea since it may interfere with booting the various isos on the ventoy device.
Is there any other location it may be installed to? A different usb device? or space on the internal SSD?
No.
I did the same with my Kali.
He simply used the nvme0n1p1 efi partition.
The only problem is the “Fedora installer”.
I even prepared a fat32 partition on my sda5.
“Installing onto an already bootable usb device is not necessarily a good idea since it may interfere with booting the various isos on the ventoy device.”
No, as far as I know I can just install grub using a different boot label. That way grub shouldn’t overwrite the grub from ventoy.
So is there any way to get the “Fedora installer” to write its grub configuration into an existing grub configuration file or maybe the “Fedora installer” just creates a new grub with its own label. Or maybe you can do this somehow via the terminal.
Or is the problem somewhere else?
Simply have enough unallocated open space for the installation, then perform a custom installation where you define the device to be used and create the efi partition as well as all other partitions in that open space.
My sda has no os in partition 4 and my sda memory has 150 Gb free memory. My Nvme0n1 has no memory. But I don’t want to install it there either.
That’s the point, that it doesn’t show me my sda memory(As an option)
sda4 is already defined as a partition so it cannot be shown for use.
You must remove sda4 before you can install in that space.
During installation you will need to create your own new partitions in the unallocated space.
You also show kernel 6.11.4 with uname -r so please make certain that after the installation you perform an update on the newly installed OS. Did you boot from the fedora ISO on that ventoy device? That may be a factor as well since you appear to be installing on the same usb device used for booting the install media
Another thought I have that may or may not have merit.
You booted from usb using ventoy and you wish to install fedora onto the same usb device. I am unsure that it is possible to have the hybrid boot (mbr & uefi) for ventoy as well as another efi partition active on that usb device. I guess your attempt will answer that.
How. When I press [Automatic] my nvme0n1 is used which has no more memory. If I press [Costem] I can select a partition (see picture 2). Or I create a partition. But since my nvme0n1 is selected and my nvme0n1 has no memory I can’t do that. Therefore I want to be able to select sda in the menu shown in picture 1
“(mbr & uefi)”
GPT & uefi*

I expect that if you help, you have an idea

As described above, this must be a software hurdle of the “Fedora installer” After all, I did it the same way with Kali Linux
I am providing hints since I am not able to physically assist.
As I said and and you quoted: I really believe this is because you are booting using ventoy to launch the fedora installer from sda and it will not allow you to use the same usb device as an installation target.
Try being flexible and put the install iso on a different usb device than the one you are installing to.
