I resport to using xrandr to control brightness. In addition, the screen blanks after a certain period and I seem to have no control over that.
FOr screen brightness, more recent online hints suggest there is an “energy” section in the preferences/setting but I have no such option.
Is there a better way to do this besides xrandr, hot kets, etc etc? Ideally to get it working with the Dell BIOS function keys as in other spins.
