No recursive search in nemo file manager after f43 → f44 upgrade

see subject; version: nemo-6.6.3-3.fc44.x86_64

Works fine here.

$ rpm -q nemo
nemo-6.7.0^unstable-2.fc44.x86_64

where did you find it (repository?)

I built my own copr based on my f45 packages.

Thx Leigh. I do not want to bild from source. Has anyone else noticed that the recursive search feature isn’t working in the version of Nemo currently included in Fedora 44?

I have no reports of nemo failing this way.

Could someone who is using the version of Nemo currently included in Fedora 44 (nemo-6.6.3-3.fc44.x86_64) please test whether the recursive search works?

See if this helps

sudo updatedb

Thanks, Leigh, for your help. In my opinion, something has changed in the way Nemo feels in the fc44 version compared to the fc43 version. Before, when I tapped the “↳” in the top-right corner, the recursive search would start. Now I have to activate the recursion by clicking on “↳,” but I also have to press “ENTER” to submit the search string I entered. So, a typical user error on my part. Shame on me…
