Hello,
Firefox looks not installable on Fedora 44 :
Failed to resolve the transaction:
Problem: conflicting requests
- package firefox-148.0-1.fc44.x86_64 from updates-testing requires (mozilla-openh264 >= 2.1.1 if openh264), but none of the providers can be installed
- package firefox-147.0.4-1.fc44.x86_64 from fedora requires (mozilla-openh264 >= 2.1.1 if openh264), but none of the providers can be installed
- problem with installed package
You can try to add to command line:
--skip-broken to skip uninstallable package
Are there restrictions in the Fedora 44 openh264 (From Cisco) - x86_64 repo for French users ? Or any changes for this plugin ?
maybe try adding --refresh? Cisco has not yet populated their repository for F44.
But you don’t really need that.

You do know that f44 has not reached beta yet?
I assume you want to test the new version whioch is why you have it.
If I’m wrong then you would be better staying on f43 until f44 gets to beta or release.

Yes i can install noopenh264 but not openh264.
I don’t use Firefox, so not a problem, i will wait Cisco provides this package
Now that F44 is in beta is this going to be built and published?

Any update on this Kevin? Loving the beta so far but this is causing issues for streaming video from my IP KVMs.

Welcome to Fedora.
@kevin The Fedora version 44 is about to be released in the next few days so would be nice if openh264 becomes available by then.

Just for information, i installed the FC43 package and it works well.
sudo dnf --releasever=43 install mozilla-openh264
After i installed again Firefox.
When it will be in FC44 repo the update will apply on our systems
