No kscreen backend found

Hello all,
With the laptop on I was wiping the mousepad, and probably some keys on the keyboard, when suddenly the contents on the screen became huge, completely unusable. I am now typing this on my phone.
I have managed to restore a Timeshift backup but this didn’t help at all, so I expect it must be a settings file which is gone, destroyed, or what more is possible, but I have no idea what could be the right file, and what should be in it.
I use Fedora KDE 43, not fully updated because of a bad internetconnection.
I have an R6800 AMD cpu with GPU, an rtx3060 Nvidia cpu and for now only the built in screen.
Who knows what to do, who can help me?
Thanks a lot.

Maybe you zoomed in by accident? You could try Meta0 to reset the zoom level?

However, where are you seeing the “No kscreen backend found” error that you mention in the title?

Meta-plus zooms KDE in, Meta-minus zooms KDE out. Meta Zero resets back to “normal” scaling.

The zoom function Meta 0 did the trick.

I saw the text “No Kscreen backend found” in a bar which appeared on screen when I cleaned the mousepad where I most likely also touched a key on the keyboard.
Thanks guys, I’m happy the screen is usable again, especially now when I am in a place with very limited internet.
Thanks all for your help.
