Hello All, Just an everyday user. My system, ThinkPad P52 with 2 ThinkVision external monitors connected by ThinkPad Thunderbolt dock. Using all 3 monitors, Laptop is main with the ThinkVisions on each side in “Join mode”. Fedora 43 workstation Gnome, No Windows.
After the Gnome 49 update I found that my 2 external monitors would not wake up. Both were recognized by the system but only had live laptop screen to work with. Mouse cursor would move to the external black screens. Display settings looked good and had not changed. I finally got them working again by going into display settings. Change from “Join” to “Mirror” Save and then change back to “Join” and Save. Working perfectly now after 2 hours searching for the problem. I know it sounds so simple but hope this helps someone.
