No External Disk in Installation Destination

I’m trying to install fedora os on my external Samsung T7 SSD 512GB disk. I installed the installer on a separate 16gb usb. everything is fine but I don’t see my external disk in the Installation destination. I see the disks on my system. I’ve tried NTFS, FAT32, EXFAT, GPT to MBR, MBR to GPT but it still doesn’t show up. Can you help me? What is the problem with this? Has anyone encountered this before? Also, my SATA Configuration settings are set to AHCI. I tried AHCI to RAID but nothing changed.

You can check the SSD is recognized and listen in your system’s UEFI/BIOS settings and if you’re using Windows, disable the Fast Startup feature,as it can interfere with the detection of drives.

Is this a new disk or one that has been used before. There have been other reports of problems with drives partitioned using Windows that don’t have any free space.

Is the external drive recognized by Gnome Disks in the Live Fedora (40?) Workstation Installer? If there was some previous file-system that you want to overwrite, you could used Gnome Disks to remove existing partitions to provide free space.

Is the external drive USB3/4, Thunderbolt or some other port? ( mini/micro ) Before heading to the installer you can check using Nautilus to see if you have the drive listed. You can use other tools as well. I’ll provide some screenshot here in a moment.
