I usually put down the lid to make the laptop go to sleep, but occasionally what happens is that when i open the lid, nothing comes on the display, it doesn’t even light up, only the powebotton’s light is glowing same as when laptop is wake.
I’m using a Thinkpad E14 Gen2.
This issue is occasional, unsure about the reason. To fix this I need to hard restart the laptop.
