No audio on Huawei MateBook D15 (ES8336 codec) - "deferred probe pending" on Fedora 44

Hi everyone,

I’m currently dealing with an audio issue on a Huawei MateBook D15 (Intel 11th Gen Tiger Lake) running Fedora 44. The system is completely up to date, but I only get “Dummy Output”.

My audio codec is the infamous Everest ES8336.

I did some research and found out that my PC is designed exclusively for Windows, which actively disables the physical chip on Linux. I was actually able to fix this and get the audio working on Linux Mint, Ubuntu, and Kali Linux, but that same solution didn’t work on Zorin, Pop!_OS, or CachyOS. I’m honestly fed up with distro-hopping and I want to make it work here no matter what. Could someone please help me out?

Welcome to Fedora @angel19

Please decide in which language you would like to get help. I saw that you made two request. In Spanish and English.
It makes no sense when you create duplicated content.

As the main language in Fedora is English I propose you use this section and delete the Spanish one.

About your problem, please have a look at linux-hardware.org what other users report about your Hardware and if they can make it run on Fedora Linux.
