Typing accent characters like ^ or ` doesn’t work in Ptyxis with keyboard layouts that have them (mine is plain German, e.g. with deadkeys, but the same has been reported for Portuguese). See these comments on Reddit Reddit - The heart of the internet?
Diacritics work as intended in Konsole.

I would raise the issue upstream if this is affecting you: Making sure you're not a bot!
Might be a bug that needs fixing.
