New proposed common issue found: Disable systemd-oomd when MATE desktop is used

After you update your system in your usual way (and possibly reboot), you should no longer be affected by this problem. If the problem persists, please start a new discussion topic and we’ll help figure out what’s still wrong.

FYI @common-issues-triage I am working on https://pagure.io/issuebot/issue/8 while waiting on CDCK to fix the various Discourse migration issues, and as a consequence[1], IssueBot is now checking all active and beta releases for CommonBugs nomination.

A package update which may fix the issue in bug 2068699 has been submitted to the Fedora updates system.

I don’t think it’s really necessary to document this at this point. See 2068699 – Disable systemd-oomd when MATE desktop is used . @kparal if you agree, can we lock this?
