After upgrading to kernel 6.19 on Fedora 42, akmod-nvidia fails to build and system falls back to 1024 resolution.
this is not funny..
You might focusing on the Beta release and test if you could lift your installation to F43 at least.
As an alternative you could give us more information like:

you probably still have an old nvidia driver installed that lacks support for kernels 6.19.x!
How was the nvidia driver installed?
What version is installed?
These can be answered by posting the result of dnf list --installed \*nvidia\* as preformatted text.
Also please post the output of inxi -Fzxx as suggested by @ilikelinux above.
