Just flashed fedora for the first time with stock settings on a stock thinkpad t410 network manager shows a ton of wifi options and will connect to my phones hotspot but it wont show xfinity public wifi. I tried manually adding the entry using the ssid and it still wouldnt show.
Wait heres an interesting workaround. If i hook my phone up to xfinity turn off cell data and turn on hotspot then connect my thinkpad to my hotspot it opens the xfinity login page. Which means these two things are capable of working together it just cant see it! Hmm lmk if yall have any ideas!
