Need help building this Discord bot

Hello everyone! I am so happy to become a member of the Linux Fedora community. I installed Fedora 40 KDE on my working laptop and had a blast! Now I got it on my main rig and having a lot of fun in general.

So I am asking for help because I’m a newbie, but I want to do this discord bot here. What really grinds my gears is, I got it working when I was using Windows, but I tried to build it for Fedora 40 KDE on my rig and I got stuck.

I figured out everything, but Gradle is my damn wall. I don’t know how to finish this thing. Followed correctly the steps to the gradle build, but the gradle run command doesn’t work. What should I expect from it? How can I turn all this in a single executable file?

Can somebody help me with this thing?

Yes, probably, I honestly don’t know where to find the community for this bot, or a community which can help me with this problem… Any suggestion?

You can raise an issue on their Github account for help.

Already did that, more than 2 weeks ago. Got no feedback at all.
If someone can give me directions to where to ask for help I will, or help me directly…
I would appreciate that.

I note that the repo has not seen a commit in 9 months.

Given the lack of response you may well be better off finding a different bot that has active support.

That’s absolutely true, but I wouldn’t ask for help if I didn’t need that specific bot. I found no alternatives to what I need to accomplish (stream audio as output directly from a virtual soundboard to a discord bot).
I thought people around the linux community could help me build this thing, because I am a noob :slight_smile: .

If you have any other suggestion (bots or programs that fulfill my specific request) to help me I’m all ears!
