Docker 1.10 for F23 systems
Docker 1.10 includes a backwards incompatible change to the Docker image store, so hasn't been included in Fedora 23 by default. While it is currently available in updates-testing (so "--enablerepo=updates-testing" is an alternative to using this COPR), enabling this COPR allows a selective upgrade compatible with distro-sync without picking up any other packages still in testing.
This COPR enables access to Docker 1.10 without upgrading to an F24 pre-release. It does NOT receive security updates on any given schedule, so don't use it for anything except running trusted containers locally on non-production systems.
For default storage settings (see below for systems configured using docker-storage-setup):
# dnf copr enable ncoghlan/docker-110 # dnf distro-sync # dnf install docker-v1.10-migrator # v1.10-migrator-local # systemctl start docker
If the migration command complains with an error along the lines of
Can't initialize device mapper: "Loopback data file not found", then run
cat /etc/sysconfig/docker-storage and include both
-s devicemapper and all of the
--storage-opt settings in that file in the call to the migration script.
