Navigating the Fedora community. (Don't miss out)

Hello everyone,
Are you having trouble navigating the Fedora community? Well, I am new here (hi newbies :star_struck: :raising_hands:) and initially, I found it a bit confusing figuring out the which site does what but here’s what I have gathered so far;

Fedora is a big community and it has several websites I’ll be listing them here and their links.

1. Fedora Accounts

Fedora Accounts is where you create your account. If you are having problems setting up your profile picture please check out this guide it will help a bunch or check out this short videoI made.

2. Fedora Forge

Fedora Forge is where you’ll find tasks and issues posted by the mentors. If you want to contribute this is the platform.

3. Chat

Matrix Chat is where you’ll find Fedora rooms eg Fedora mentoring.

4. Fedora Discussion.

In Fedora discussion you’ll find threads and discussion eg; Develop a SLM/LLM using Ramalama RAG: Introduce yourself!.

5. Fedora Magazine

In Fedora Magazine you’ll find articles and short guides contributed from the community.

6. Fedora mailing lists

In Fedora mailing lists you’ll find meaningful threads and discussions too.

Points to note

  • For easier navigation you can bookmark these websites.
  • If I have left anything out, feel free to comment below.

Welcome to fedora @iamnjeri

I remember how mind blowing it was when I started to explore the community.

Below my topic I created in 2021.

New to Fedora? Here is a guide to give you an overview

I find the website apps.fedoraproject.org interesting which gives you a visual overview of the apps which are around.

Fedora Forge is not listed, and the system the Forge will replace is Pagure
On the overview there is still ask.fp.o which got integrated into Discussuion.fp.o

It is not the newest overview, but still it is representative.
Might be an other project to actualize it with new web technologies  to make it barrier free and better readable in general.
