Anyone else use the “Starred” option in Nautilus? It looks like after a recent update, it now looks like it appears broken. I’m currently unable to see the files/documents I’ve starred, they’ve essentially disappeared. And when I try to re-star/add a new file it doesn’t get added, so no matter what I try I’m always left with an empty Starred tab. I recall this happened once before a while ago in a previous Gnome release, so I guess it’s possible there’s another bug regression, but I’m not sure exactly of the culprit package(s) responsible.
It was working fine the other day, though I suspect the tracker3 tracker3-miners package(s) might be the issue at hand, but would appreciate any insights from others as well, thank you.
I don’t have any solutions at the moment, but I went ahead and filed a bug report upstream if you have any additional info that may help, please see here:
As of the moment, I couldn’t star any files or folder in Files. I couldn’t pinpoint when this issue exactly started, but I recently changed my RAM stick on my laptop. I am not sure if that is related here, but those are the major changes that happened lately. I do not know which information should I provide but here are my specs:
