Similarly to:
I have a LINX1010 that is now bootable:
Its Wi-Fi used to work perfectly on Windows 10 (and, from what I recall, does on openSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE Plasma Desktop). However, it doesn’t work on Fedora 42 with plasma Desktop or mobile, because:
-
It endlessly attempts to connect to my LAN, which solely ever results in notifications that the network has been “deactivated”, before it attempts to again.
-
The relevant KCM’s switches frequently fail to enable or disable Wi-Fi.
To diagnose:
-
NetworkManager.serviceis active (and enabled).restarting it does little, although appears to somewhat assist in ensuring that the toggles work. -
I haven’t yet add RPMFusion’s repository, much less any drivers.
