My problem:

Since the update to Fedora 44, Musescore 4.6 no longer starts. The following messages always appear:

This worked for me:

xprop -root -remove AT_SPI_BUS
mscore

Note that that only works if you are running an X session. It won’t help on a Wayland session. Also, it “works” by disabling the accessibility features. If you need those, don’t do this.

What we really need is a fixed qt6-qtdeclarative package.

Yes, the qt6-qtdeclarative bug that was making MuseScore crash on start has been fixed. At this point, it should work for everyone, and the xprop workaround should not be necessary. Many thanks to Jan Grulich for pushing a fixed build.
