Mouse Stuttering every few seconds

Been using Fedora for several months now with a very smooth system, but recently I noticed my mouse would stutter every few seconds. I tried a different monitor and mouse, still stuttering. I ran sudo journalctl -f and noticed this error would happen each time my mouse stuttered. fedora gnome-shell[2662]: Could not open device /dev/input/event17: Could not get device info for path /dev/input/event17: No such file or directory I have copied and pasted one “cycle” of this below.

I have not changed my setup since when the mouse was working perfectly.

Any suggestions on what is causing the problem?

moksh@fedora:~$ sudo journalctl -f

For troubleshooting, is the Wacom device seperate? Does it happen without the Wacom attached?

Could be also hard I/O use, like copying files or RAM swapping. Does it happen on fresh reboot, with nothing running? Or only once you have taskbar fully loaded with usualy programs?

Turns out the issue was the wacom, when unplugged the system was smooth. The wacom didn’t work at all on my main system. When I tested the wacom on another system it worked fine, and then plugging it back into my original suddenly everything worked again. Something must’ve been off with the firmware on the wacom and it needed a reset.
