Mounting a Windows (10) Storage as "a folder in Fedora"

It is ultimately up to you, but third time and last time: Mounting a Windows (10) Storage as "a folder in Fedora" - #5 by ytrium

In regards to “Windows’ self-diagnosing tools” is that here, in this context, they were kind off irrelevant to the topic.

In the end, it was just the hibernation instead of shutting off setting which brought problems. To run or do anything else is, and would have been, just a waste of time (even if this was a fresh W10 install on a SSD).

That said, I’ve now tried installing and running a game from a NTFS HHD on my main computer and, no, Steam games from Steam don’t run from there.

It may be that “games running on non-Steam, Proton using platforms” or whatever else could run from a NTFS partition, but right now I am not willing to test that, and honestly this thread is not the right place for this discussion/discovery. I won’t post here anymore (max I’ll edit some older messages if things need clarification) because the issue has been dealt with.
Once again, thank you people.
