I’ve been using Mint for my main box but trying out different distro’s and found Fedora KDE to my liking on my laptop so I installed KDE Plasma on an HP laptop with a docking station and two external monitors and everything, at that time, worked flawlessly. The issue is booting the laptop off of the dock, everything is missing and seems to be on the theoretical monitor that is now unplugged. I would have thought that having it un-docked would have automatically snapped everything to the laptop screen by itself but it is what it is for now, at the moment, I just need to have everything back on the laptop screen. I’m not seeing an option in Display settings to make the laptop screen the default or primary monitor in order to bring everything back to this screen. I’ve tried changing the Sort By options, Arrange options, Align options when right clicking the screen and none of those have made a difference. Is there a way to get it all back on the laptop screen without having to re-dock it? Currently, I can’t do that at the moment.
Can you please check if this changes something, while switching Desktop/Folder view in Home > Desktop Settings?
Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately i was on site and ended up reloading a fresh install as i needed to get to putty to access the switches. I should have tested it before leaving the house so that was on me but if it comes up again, ill had this note to try as ive got a couple of other installs to do so we’ll see. Thanks again for the suggestion though!
