Microphone not available after kernel upgrade

System
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro X (14ARH7) running Fedora 41 with KDE Plasma 6 on Wayland.

Issue
The built-in microphone is no longer available after upgrading from kernel 6.11.10 to 6.12.4. The device appears in the audio settings by enabling “Show Inactive Devices”, but cannot be selected. The speakers’ profile is set to “Analog Stereo Duplex” and changing it to any other option makes the microphone disappear altogether. Also, tired kernel 6.11.11 and that also presents the problem.

Workaround
Reverting to 6.11.10 fixes the problem.

Output of inxi -A:

Audio:
Device-1: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD/ATI] Rembrandt Radeon High Definition
    Audio driver: snd_hda_intel
Device-2: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] ACP/ACP3X/ACP6x Audio Coprocessor
    driver: snd_pci_acp6x
Device-3: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] Family 17h/19h/1ah HD Audio
    driver: snd_hda_intel
  API: ALSA v: k6.12.4-200.fc41.x86_64 status: kernel-api
  Server-1: PipeWire v: 1.2.7 status: active

It is the same for both kernel 6.11.10 and 6.12.4.

I have the same problem, please check my topic

It worked! Thanks a lot.

Update: not working anymore. I shut down the PC overnight and now the mic is not enabled even with the fix applied.
