I recently updated from Fed34 to Fed35. It mostly went smoothly but screen updating is messy and a serious slow down to any kind of work.
I use the LXQT spin and this seems to affect qt rather than wxt based programs.
geany, libreOffice, Thunderbird, XFE seem fine.
gnuplot (GNUTERM = “qt”) , Firefox , qt5 Designer, FeatherPad and desktop switching are messy.
This seems to be some kind of problem updating “dirty” parts of the screen. It does it piecemeal in lines inside larger rectangles, seemingly randomly around the screen. It can take 15-30 SECONDS to get a clean display.
In particular opening a file can be very painful and the list can take 15s to be even legible so I see where I’m going.
Is this a known issue.

Thanks for any help / suggestions.
