MD5 mismatch message on kernel update ! Please your help!

Hi. This is the 2nd time that I face this case. 1st time was before about 1 months or more when I received kernel update. But after that I received about 4 or 5 or more (I don’t remember exactly) kernel updates without this case.

But today I received kernel update & I suffer from this case ! There was the following message in terminal:
“Downloading Packages:
(1/8): kernel-5.8.17-22.fc32_5.8.18-200.fc32.x86_64.drpm
/var/cache/dnf/updates-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/packages/kernel-5.8.17-200.fc32_5.8.18-200.fc32.x86_64.drpm: md5 mismatch of result”

Note: the “xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx” is a replacement from me for a number because I do not know if it is a sensitive data or not. If you need it to evaluate this case I will post it here.

The message above - as you see - did not contain “warning” or error" words.

There was no further strange message & system update was completed very smoothly with success & I restarted my Fedora 32 X64 bit Cinnamon edition without problem.

Kindly, can you explain what this mean ??

Thank you.

That says it all. It was an information message and not an error of concern.
