Massive CPU usage spike when expanding Google Search AI Overview on Firefox

Title.

On Firefox, CPU usage jumps up by a lot, and with it, fan speeds and noise, as soon as I click Show More to expand the AI Overview result, which is absurd. I’m on a laptop, so that’s easily noticeable.

Of course, that doesn’t happen on Chrome.

How to find out why and maybe report it to Mozilla?

Adding this filter to Ublock Origin returnerd my CPU to normal on Google’s AI.
