Makeing Blu-Rays on fedora

I think I see one difference there.
I am using Workstation (gnome) and it seems you might be using KDE.
I am also using xorg for the desktop display and would guess you are using wayland.

While theoretically those differences should not matter, they might.

You said dvdstyler did not work but did not state why nor show what went wrong.
.
Have you tried all mpg files? all mp4 files? all mkv files? or any other video format you might use?

All I can say is it seems to work for me.

You indicated there may have been a problem with ffmpeg in converting the files? What happened?

/tmp is tmpfs. I wonder if you might be running out of space on /tmp while it’s building out the iso data. You mentioned setting temp to your home directory earlier but it still seems to be utilizing /tmp here.

Any idea host to fix that?

How*

It seems this is a longstanding quirk with k3b:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1530047

So I’m guessing their is no way to fix that?

There’s a bit of a goofy workaround here in the comments you can try: 1530047 – k3b uses /tmp as defaultTempPath

This actually might be relevant since the tmp path thing appears to be KDE specific. One would think that k3b would behave better on KDE since it is a KDE app, but it looks like it might be resolving temp and cache more reliably in Gnome?

OK. One sec let me give it a try

Another option would be trying out the flatpak version of k3b in case the temp storage ends up in the container storage context, since /tmp shouldn’t be shared between containerized apps, IIRC.

So gnome did not work. Where can I get the K3b flatpak?

Huh, looks like I’m wrong. k3b isn’t currently available in a flatpak. It might work in a toolbox, however.

OK I got something a little different. here it is.

Running it as sudo isn’t likely to make a difference, nor be helpful, as you might end up with weird project files permissions. If you’ve done this before, you might end up with that /tmp folder being created and owned as root and your regular user can no longer write to it.

Well considering the fact I just did it how do I fix that?

EDIT: I just remembered, I might have done this before. the fix?

UPDATE: I started a Debian VM to test this and I got
