luminoso/Signal-Desktop

Stable build of Signal Desktop Messenger. Signal is an encrypted communications application for Android and iOS. It uses the Internet to send one-to-one and group messages, which can include files, voice notes, images and videos, and make one-to-one voice and video calls.

Hi!

Is it maybe possible to also build signal-desktop for aarch64?

no chance at least for this copr. Signal ships pre-built binaries and releasing for aarch64 would require to re-compile them, which is a huge effort

hey I’m really late to moving to the flatpak, the path used to copy your data is wrong on the copr page.

Should be:
-cp -r ~/.config/Signal ~/.var/app/org.signal.Signal/config/

This worked for me, the one I used that was on the page didn’t.

Should be possible now. See https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Desktop/issues/4530 and here: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/useidel/signal-desktop/build/5735860/

Just moved to the Suse build and wanted to say thank you for maintaining this for 4 years
