Hey. Just wondering if anyone knows a way I can edit what the mouse buttons do? I’ve been trying for a while, but I am getting nowhere.

Settings, mouse, configure extra buttons.
Sadly that doesn’t work. Click Add Binding, but it then doesn’t detect the button presses.
Works ok on my Razer Viper Ultimate - you’re quite sure you have selected the correct “mouse” on the initial screen - as you can see it detects multiple devices (and I don’t have a Keychron C3 mouse or a Razer keyboard!):
Failing that you could try installing piper and see if that meets your requirements.
Yeah, selected the right one. Piper works for my g502, but not my MX Ergo

I have but that doesn’t let you edit buttons.

Not necessarily. You could look at input-remapper and see if that works for your device.
Failing that, you can always create udev rules to do the remapping, as per this post, but that’s kind of awkward.
Input Remapper is probably the best thing I have tried so far. But it only recognises some buttons. Like middle tilt right it detects. Tilt left, it cannot see.
