Logitech Media Keyboard Elite special keys no more recognized after recent updates

Using Fedora 32 on the KDE Spin, using the Kernel 5.7.11

For about a week now I have the issue of my Logitech Media Keyboard Elite special keys no longer being recognized.
The keyboard preset is “Logitech Cordless Desktop LX-300” since this has been recommended on multiple other sites, and it did work flawless for the most part over the course of the last year.
I am honestly clueless what the issue could be. Having booted with a Kernel 5.7.9 has not changed something. Perhaps it has been other updates that came in in the past 7 days.

Using ‘xev’ to capture inputs, these special keys produce absolutely no signal and are not captured.

If there is any more information that I could provide, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

The “solution” was to downgrade libinput from 1.16.0. to 1.15.4. Apparently there was a regression. Bug report was issued.
