Can anybody shine some light on how to fix the LibreOffice Suit when this happens while I am opening a random document?

This usually is a result of the current (and usually momentary) load on the machine. I see it occasionally with other apps as well (including the chrome browser), and the only fix has been to wait or try at another time.
I have experienced it only with Libre. That’s too bad I like it.
Does it only occur when opening very large documents?
Does the system recover from the error, and if so how long does it take?

An example would be me opening a 40 page document and Writer fails. The recovery error also freezes… it’s freezing at every point. It takes 2-3 minutes.

Presuming you’ve installed the RPM version from the repos, could you check if the same issue persists with the Flatpak version of LibreOffice from Flathub?
Based on the results, you would better assess if the issue is with your system/configuration or with the RPM build of LibreOffice.

It seem the Flatpak version is much more stable. I will continue using it and see if any problems appear.

After upgrading to Fedora-42 I had problems with Writer hanging trying to recover files which didn’t need recovering. This was fixed by switching to the Flathub Flatpak version.
