Libreoffice wouldn't start after an update

I get the above messages on the terminal after issuing “soffice” to start Libreoffice. The splash screen displays momentarily and … , that’s it. Nothing. This behaviour started after an update that brought in version 6.3.0.x – I was using 6.2.3.x and that worked fine. I have filed a bug report against Libreoffice (bugzilla report). Packages from TDF of the same version exhibit the same behaviour.

With the updates to py3.8, I can no longer downgrade. (lost my cache/collection). Any ideas?

Try to temporary rename/remove the LibreOffice configuration:

gio trash "${HOME}/.config/libreoffice"

You can also test it under a new user with default profile settings.

This was an OpenCL bug. This koji build resolves the issue.
