LibreOffice has now reached v 28.8.0.3.
Yes I know it is available on Flathub, but I prefer rpm-update.
f45 is currently scheduled to reach the branch final freeze on October 10, 2026 with scheduled release October 20, 2026. (schedule subject to change).
Personally I do not understand the mindset that demands that users install the latest and greatest release version of software as soon as it is available upstream. It seems much better to wait until that version is properly implemented into the distro they are using. After all, if the version they are currently using works as needed then early adoption of newer versions might lead to unanticipated issues. Waiting a short time allows others to find any potential issues and to have those issues resolved, avoiding any early release issues.
Remember that development versions are always subject to change (f45 is currently development and still almost 2 months away from release) and things may break at any time during the development phase.
