bro i know i’m super late to the party, but i’ve got that exact hardware on my macbook 14,3 and the exact same error messages..is there any way you could shoot me that txt file? i’ve been working on this for like 3 solid weeks. sorry if this sort of question isn’t allowed here. i literally just registered like 2 min ago. i really hope to hear from you. ok take care and thanks
I’ve moved on to greater pastures (a thinkpad) so I had to dig through a lot of backups to find this file, I remember there was one that enabled 2.4Ghz and another that enabled 5Ghz, I’m pretty sure this one is the 2.4Ghz file but I’m not sure, so you should try this on a non-Fedora distro assuming it hasn’t been fixed
if you look at the linux-on-mbp2016 repo under the wifi section you might find the kernel.org bugzilla that contains the other file.
I took the liberty of moving this info to a new thread since the one used originally was necro for 2 years.
If I understood the issue for you correctly it may be wifi. This is often the case for new fedora users with a macbook.
Most broadcom wifi adapters can be properly driven by installing the package broadcom-wl from the rpmfusion repo.
Configure the repo as shown here then install that package with sudo dnf install broadcom-wl. After it installs and you have rebooted the driver should be loaded and the wifi adapter should work
