Lefthanded mouse pointer

I switched to Fedora, from Ubuntu. On Ubuntu I had lefty mouse pointers, as described here:

For Fedora I found this:

This didn’t work, because

  1. The theme file was missing
  2. Fedora uses the ‘default’ pointer, not the right_ptr that I had installed.
    Copying 'right_ptr" to ‘default’ solved the issue.

As you can see the howto I made on F41. Gnome was still on v4x
Now on F44 we are on Gnome v5x. This means that things can change and not work in newer versions anymore.

I checked it with F44 and the pointer not works anymore. Even if I have installed it, with F41 the pointer for left hand was turned around and when the background was dark, the pointer color inverted.

As mentioned with F44 it not works anymore. If you really want to work it again, I guess we need to report it upstream to the person which made the package for the left hand cursor.

As I wrote, I found a fix. I have a lefty pointer now on Fedora 44.
