Latest HP BIOS not updated under f40 - is there a way to see if it will at some stage?

Hi
A couple of PC’s are HP Micro prodesks G5 - or thereabouts. The latest bios from March was rolled out via Windows update however nothing has come via Fedora. I am pretty sure previously BIOS updates were received for these PC’s.

Is there a way to see if it will be rolled out through linux/fedora or check my firmware/bios updates settings are correct within the os?

The insallation instructions advise to execute the .exe under windows. This seems unusual, as previous updates on most other machines included an iso or execeutable via the bios itself and instructions.

Sorry, poorly explained however I’m not sure of the correct terminology or how this is managed under linux.

Edit - Appears HP is selective of BIOS updates to Linux skipping the last few - Assuming my PC is set up correctly to download and install firmware.
If you download the latest bios you there is an option to update the PC or create a USB flash drive - however you need windows to do it.

Check in terminal with fwupdmgr if there is a Bios to download.
