I’m using centos 10 and just wanted to know if the latest firefox was available from epel instead of using flatpak
It should be available in the CentOS 10 Stream packages, just try to install it
sudo dnf install firefox
ok so this is the ESR version instead of the one in fedora?
It says 140.7 and Fedora is on 143.0.3
But that should be expected as CentOS is about stability.
And yes, 140.7 is the ESR.
If your question is can you download Firefox 143 from EPEL, I believe the answer is no.
You can download and install a RPM version from Download Firefox in English (US) and more than 90 other languages — Firefox of whatever release you want and install it on CentOS.
There also might be a Copr or another repo that has different releases you could use.
