Switched off Bluetooth. Is there a reason why Bluetooth is automatically switched off after the installation of an update? I have automatic updates installed to prevent being cought by malware. This did an reboot which is ok as reboots are fast and a commute to the watercooler and back is enough for having a system again. But I would not think of Fedora disabling Bluetooth in the process.

Could it be a power management feature if nothing is connected over BT?

Were you using BT devices (mouse, keyboard, sound, etc.) before updating and expected them to be available after reboot? Was the system connected to external power? There have been issues with batteries being run down after reboot, so I would not be surprised to find updates that reduce power demands after a reboot.

I’m using nothing else on the laptop. Luckily apart from my default BT devices I also have intergrated kb and mouse so I can switch bt on again, but annoying neverthelless. A sleep is pretty experimental I have my laptop connected to a dock with secondary screens and an ethernet but kb and ms is thrue the laptops bt receiver.
