Last update causes lag on kde plasma desktop environment

EDIT:It is fixed after some updates. I think it was an issue with the quarks wallpaper

The lag ends after a couple of minutes and only happens on the desktop. Firefox worked smooth while i m writing this. But the lag was worrying when it first occured. I update my fedora weekly and i m not sure if i m making a mistake by doing so. Also i m not good at troubleshooting and i dont understand linux much.

So is this a regular issue or was this a one-off and gave you a bit of a surprise.

You don’t state what your machine is, or which version of fedora you’re running, so without a little more information, help is going to be limited.

It was a surprise, not a regular issue. I use fedora 42 as the tag states. My machine is Dell G3 3500 Laptop.
