I’m using Fedora 42 with KDE Plasma. My setup is an external monitor, mouse and keyboard and I have my lid closed. So it’s a docking setup of sorts.
After having played around with my display resolution recently, above setup doesn’t work anymore like used to. With the lid closed, everything’s fine up until the logon screen. Then, after logging on, the system goes to sleep…
I’ve already tried looking at:
Power settings
logind.conf
I have created another user account and then everything works fine. I can close the lid in that session without issues.
Any other ideas?
