I will need to look at these tools you mentioned. My laptop is a Framework 13 so I switched out one of the expansion cards to HDMI for now. This means I plug in a USBC charger and and HDMI cable vs the dock USBC for everything. It will work fine for now, but I do hope this gets resolved.
