Hi everyone, I recently installed Fedora KDE 43 on a friend’s laptop, and Krita freezes frequently (when opening, creating a new sheet, when getting out and back to the windows,…) for no reason.
The computer has an Intel integrated GPU. Previous installation with Fedora GNOME 43 had no issue at all. Here’s the system config from KDE settings :
Operating System: Fedora Linux 43
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.23.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1
Kernel Version: 6.18.10-200.fc43.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 12 × 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-1235U
Memory: 16 Gio of RAM (15.3 Gio usable)
Graphics Processor: Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics
Manufacturer: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
Product Name: Vivobook_ASUSLaptop X1704ZA_X1704ZA
System Version: 1.0
I tried both RPM and Flatpak packages, and both have the same laggy behavior.
If anyone has ideas about a solution/debugging, he/she will be very helpful. Thanks in advance ! ![]()
